Create your masterpiece in Charcoals

Service Description

This is a five day workshop of one and a half hours each day on Saturdays only (3.30 pm to 5 pm). Start date: 05/06/21 to 03/07/21. You need not have any prior experience of artwork yet you can still enjoy the beauty of your own creation on paper using charcoals. This artwork requires minimum investment too! Charcoal is a highly reversible drawing medium and you can get rich dark tones out of it with plenty of high contrasts. Join me for a 90 minute class offered live through Zoom. Learn to sketch still life, common Indian birds, leaves and study their shapes and others. Learn Perspective and tones and show mastery in landscapes drawing in charcoals, capture the effects of light and create an illusion of depth. Each class will start with a 30 minute live Zoom demonstration on drawing with charcoals. Students will then have time to work independently and meet one to one with the teacher. The last 15 minutes will be focused on sharing student art as a group on Zoom. Materials required: Charcoal pencils box - one medium 2B pencil, one hard HB pencil and one extra hard 2H pencil , one compressed charcoal, White charcoal stick, One Kneaded eraser, White Stick Eraser, Blending tools like stumping sticks, paper towels, ear buds; Large drawing sheets (slightly thick) and a Drawing Board with clips.
